Love Letter from a Critic, or Notes on the Intersectionality Wars

Lecture to be held by Jennifer Nash followed by two respondents.

Bio:
Jennifer C. Nash is Associate Professor of African American Studies and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Northwestern University. She is the author of The Black Body in Ecstasy (Duke U Press, 2014) and Black Feminism Reimagined (Duke U Press, 2019), and the editor of the volume Gender: Love (MacMillan, 2016). She has published articles in journals including GLQ, Signs, Feminist Theory, Feminist Studies, and American Quarterly.

Wine reception held in the PSH Atrium prior to the lecture commencing at 6pm.

This lecture also marks the launch of the special section 'Black Sexualities' to be published in the Spring edition of Feminist Theory, co-edited by Jennifer Nash.
