Project Celebration / Opening (16:00 – 17:00, Kingsway Corridor, Richard Hoggart Building – join us for drink to celebrate the end of the project!)

This term A Particular Reality has been working with students from BA Curating at Goldsmiths, to explore collective and liberatory approaches to curating, art practice, education and research. We have been studying important histories and contemporary examples of artistic and curatorial practice that promote anti-racism, activism and social change, as well as imagining artistic collaborations that bring together artists, curators, activists and communities. Each group responded to a different issue or inquiry into social injustice or marginalisation, and began to imagine more just, inclusive and joyful futures for art practice.

The curating students have collaborated with artists from the APR network to develop research, facilitations, workshops and exhibition displays to be shared at Goldsmiths in December.
