Come and see an award winning film about Lyd - a city that once connected Palestine to the world - as it was, as it is now and how it could have been.

The city of Lyd (now Lod in Israel) was the site of one of the largest single expulsions of the Nakba, the expulsion in 1948 of three quarters of a million Palestinians from what is now Israel. In the film, the city is personified with a human voice and reflects on its 5000 year history. By mixing documentary footage with animation, the film imagines an alternate reality in which the Nakba did not occur.

Join us for an evening of thought provoking cinema and discussion.
