A series of talks from leaders in tech to inspire our students in their own journeys.

In the first talk of this year's series, please join John Flynn, CTO and co-founder of Sonantic and Machine Learning Engineering Director at Spotify, to hear about his career as an entrepreneur and creative technologist. John will talk about his own journey, including 10+ years industry experience in film/TV/music. He will share thoughts on how to be a successful entrepreneur and how students can best equip themselves for their own futures, including insights on key areas currently recruiting.

When: Wednesday 29 January, 1 to 2pm

Who: Open to all students at Goldsmiths & alumni

Bio:
John Flynn is a London-based entrepreneur and creative technologist with a rich and diverse career. He co-founded and served as CTO of Sonantic, a pioneering generative voice AI company acquired by Spotify in 2022, where he later became a Machine Learning Engineering Director. With a background in audio production and digital signal processing, John has coded cutting-edge plugins and spent over a decade working on iconic Hollywood films like The Dark Knight and Harry Potter.
