In the fifth talk of this year's series, please join Tomas Roope, entrepreneur and AI innovator, to hear about his career at the forefront of digital innovation. Tomas will talk about his own journey, including Group Creative Lead at Google and as founder of ventures like theGardening.Club and Ai4.Style pushing the boundaries of digital experiences and human-machine collaboration..
He will share thoughts on how to be a successful entrepreneur and how students can best equip themselves for their own futures, including insights on key areas of tech.

Bio:
With over 30 years at the forefront of digital innovation, Tomas Roope has shaped the intersection of creativity, technology, and culture.
An Honorary Royal Designer for Industry (Royal Society of Arts) and a BIMA Digital Hall of Fame inductee, Tom has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Lincoln for his contributions to digital culture.
In 1995, he co-founded Antirom, a trailblazing digital collective honoured for its Outstanding Contribution to Digital Culture during Internet Week’s Digital Archaeology. He later co-founded Tomato Interactive, worked with top universities (including the Royal College of Art), and created installations for international exhibitions.
In 2007, he launched The Rumpus Room, pioneering participatory brand experiences. Under his leadership, the company received top accolades from D&AD, Cannes, One Show, CLIOs, and more.
From 2016 to 2019, Tom served as Group Creative Lead at Google ZOO (EMEA), heading a team of creatives and technologists to drive innovation with Google’s most influential clients.
Today, Tom is focused on the convergence of AI and creativity, founding ventures like theGardening.Club and Ai4.Style to push the boundaries of digital experiences and human-machine collaboration.
