A Festival of New Experimental Theatre Works MA Performance Making Final Degree Shows
“A festival of thresholds where reality dissolves”
A graduating cohort comprised of young artists from across the globe have collaborated to produce nine unique pieces of theatre, performance art and installations. They have been curated to be performed to a live audience over three days with installations opening to the public a day prior. These performances explore a myriad of differing themes ranging from the concept of free will to matrilineal trauma.
Liminæ as a title draws inspiration from the concept of spaces – those that exist in our day to day lives, and those that we choose to create – to create curated spaces where reality can dissolve. From the Liminal, emerges Liminæ – an experience that allows the audience to inhabit spaces that reject definition. Through these nine performances, we aim to generate an alternative narrative against the everyday.
