The Asian Music Unit at Goldsmiths SEA ArtsShorts presents 'Phnom Penh, Rescue Archaeology: The Body And The Lens In The City'

A rescue archaeologist reacts urgently, yet carefully, to a transitional moment that marks change and irrevocable loss. View ten single-channel video works of performance by seven Cambodian artists made during a critical time of rapid urban, social, economic and cultural change and continuity in Phnom Penh.

Curated by Erin Gleeson.

SEA ArtsFilm brings a range of exciting moving image work from Southeast Asian artists who are breaking new ground internationally, and artists interested in exploring this region’s rich heritage and potential. This programme includes a selection of feature length screenings and the SEA ArtsShorts programmes. SEA ArtsFilm is curated by Annie Jael Kwan.
