A trans-generational conversation between artists and academics about feminist work on work with specific reference to how feminists have documented & dealt with precarity.

The panel will be a trans-generational conversation about feminist work on work. Panelists will be invited to discuss the histories of feminist critiques of the precarity of working conditions; how gender intersects with class and race to distribute precarity unevenly to populations; the different strategies feminists have developed to document those conditions (with a focus on feminist art); and different tactics for dealing with these conditions.

The panel will be chaired by Professor Janis Jefferies and includes: Sophie Chapman, Elena Colman and Kerri Jefferis (artists), Heidi Hasbrouck (Goldsmiths), and Professor Angela McRobbie (Goldsmiths).
