Requesting a landlord reference

Who to contact for other residences.

We will provide a landlord reference free of charge within three weeks of receiving your request, provided we have your written consent to share your accommodation information.

A reference will generally include licence dates, rent payment status and factual information about how you met your licence obligations. We may also be asked to state whether we would offer you accommodation again.

Please note that if you were in serious breach of your licence and received disciplinary action (e.g. a Final Written Warning), you will not be considered for accommodation and this information will be included.

Before we can issue a reference

We require your written consent to share your accommodation information before we can issue a reference to a landlord or agency.

Please contact the Goldsmiths accommodation team to provide written consent. Contact us using your Goldsmiths email address, including your full name, student ID and landlord or agency contact details.
